Job summary

Pinehurst Surgical Clinic, PA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care within the LPN scope in a surgical clinic setting. You will support physicians and staff to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant care while contributing to onboarding, workflow consistency, and operational excellence.

The LPN performs clinical and administrative duties per licensure and policy to promote patient safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Current North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of infection control, sterile technique, and basic health/safety precautions.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care coordination.
• Administrative competency sufficient to support clinic operations.
• Strong professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and clinical support within LPN scope.
• Perform patient assessments, document histories, allergies, medications, vital signs.
• Prepare patients, rooms, equipment, and supplies for exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Assist with procedures, wound care, suture/staple removal, specimen collection, post-operative care.
• Communicate orders and aftercare instructions to patients.
