Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Laser Technician I for the Boston District in Massachusetts. The role requires maintaining sterile equipment and supporting surgical procedures in the operating room, with a competitive hourly pay range of $18.19 to $27.82 and timeframe expectations as described.

Responsibilities include sterilizing and transporting equipment, and ensuring equipment readiness before, during, and after surgeries. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
• Must be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time as well as being able to bend and reach repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands.
• Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Transports equipment to ensure that it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.
