Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Laser Technician I in Albuquerque, NM, to ensure surgical equipment is ready for procedures. The role involves assisting in the OR, sterilizing instruments, and coordinating transport of equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must stand or sit for long periods and be able to bend and reach repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement depends on physician needs.
• Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by timely communication of defects to stakeholders.
• Transports equipment to the correct locations for procedures.
