Job summary

Highridge Medical is seeking a Surgical Kit Technician to support inbound logistics, inspections, and loaner-kit processing. This second shift role focuses on ensuring kits and instruments meet quality standards and are properly documented.

You will decontaminate, inspect, repackage, and assist with training in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. English communication and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; English proficiency required.
  • Experience with medical device kits, decontamination, or processing preferred.
  • WMS experience and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect loaner kits and instrument sets for conformity.
  • Process loaner sets in Implant Base and SAP.
  • Decontaminate loaner kits after returns per work instructions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Provide training to less experienced operators in inbound logistics functions.

Surgical Kit Technician

This is a second shift position

Job Summary

Provide general warehouse services to support all inbound logistics functions. Areas of support include but may not be limited to new and returned receipts, inspection, loaner kit replenishment, and decontamination.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections on instrument(s) and implant(s) loaner sets returned from customers.
  • Process all loaner sets through Implant Base and SAP
  • Identify and remove non-conforming product from loaner kits and loose returns
  • Repackage product as required.
  • Decontaminate loaner kits upon return from customers as directed by proper work instructions.
  • Inspect and test instruments to verify that they are in proper working condition.
  • Perform required duties as directed by the needs of the business
  • Must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Replace damaged labels and remove ancillary labels from loaner kit cases and trays as needed
  • Assist in answering inspection questions, resolving issues, and supporting the management escalation procedure.
  • Provide training and job-specific instruction to lesser-experienced operators in all inbound logistics functions

Skills & Experience Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. knowledge, skills, and abilities)
  • Medical device kit inspection, decontamination, and processing experience are preferred
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, excellent communication skills; ability to make informed decisions; and ability to work well with others
  • Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be able to complete clearly and accurately all required process documentation
  • Willingness to work overtime and holidays on short notice as required and cover a rotating on-call schedule
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Communicate clearly in verbal and written form in English
  • Computer skills and experience with a WMS are required
  • Ability to work with and coordinate with other departments/personnel in a collaborative and solutions-oriented manner

$23.00- $24.00/hour with addition
