Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to serve as a conduit between SPD and OR at the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. The role focuses on coordinating instrument needs, inventory control, and timely communication to support fast-paced OR schedules.

Qualified candidates hold a HS diploma, CSPDT/CRCST/CST certification, and 2 years of sterile processing experience. This onsite, full-time role includes weekend night shifts and a compensation range of $24.11–$36.17 per hour.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CSPDT/CRCST/CST certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate instrument and case needs between SPD and OR.
• Act as liaison for real-time instrument/supply needs.
• Communicate conflicts and turnovers with OR and SPD staff.
• Assist in inventory control of instrument trays and locations.
• Evaluate equipment needs and assist in prioritization and purchases.
• May serve as preceptor for new staff.
