Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for pre-, intra-, and post-operative patients in a surgical hospital setting.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. The role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to educate patients and families on recovery, discharge plans, and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required.
• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in surgical or inpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients admitted for surgical procedures.
• Assess patients' admission and post-operative needs.
• Monitor vitals and intervene as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments per hospital protocols.
• Assist with wound care, pain management, and post-operative recovery.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document nursing interventions and patient progress.
• Participate in rounds and contribute to care decisions.
