Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pre/Post-operative Staff Nurse to manage patient admission, comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, and stabilization for return to home or inpatient settings.

The role requires coordination of labs, education, and family escort, with adherence to protocols and standing orders. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong nursing knowledge base, ability to assess complex patient needs, and effective communication within a fast-paced surgical

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and patient assessment is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admission and pre-operative care planning, including patient education.
• Coordinate pre-operative labs and document results.
• Provide post-operative care and stabilization for discharge or transfer.
• Monitor patients continually and report concerns to physicians or supervisors.
• Document all actions promptly and accurately in medical records.
• Assist with discharge education and post-discharge planning.
