Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse with a BSN to join our patient-centered care teams in Illinois. You will perform comprehensive assessments, document findings, and collaborate closely with patients, families and the care team to build and adjust care plans.

In this role you will ensure safe medication administration, provide patient education, and support discharge planning while upholding regulatory standards and the organization's commitment to quality care.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing acceptable only if willing to pursue BSN within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to care team.
• Develop and adjust plans of care with realistic goals.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and health care team for discharge planning.
• Ensure proper medication administration and patient education at bedside.
