Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Surgical ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. You will provide immediate postoperative care in the SICU, applying nursing processes and delivering high-quality patient care to diverse patient populations.

Active RN license in the state is required; 2 years SICU/ICU experience is preferred, with CCRN/TCRN/TNCC certifications and ACLS/PALS as applicable. CPR current. Competitive weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• 2 years of SICU/ICU experience preferred.
• CCRN and/or TCRN/TNCC certifications preferred.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required per state/contract.

• TB questionnaire or chest x-ray if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process and deliver patient care in the SICU setting.
• Manage complex patient care across all ages with a focus on immediate postoperative care.

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Registered Nurseassumes responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process anddelivery of patient care in the SICU setting.,). The Registered Nurseconsistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable formanaging complex patient care across all patient ages with a focus on immediatepostoperative medical care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices

• 2 years of SICU or ICU experience, preferred

• CCRN and/or TCRN/TNCC certifications preferred

• ACLS and/or PALS may be required per state/contract

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
