Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Bridgeport, CT. The role emphasizes immediate postoperative medical care and delivers nursing care across all ages in the SICU setting.

Required include an active RN license for the practicing state and 2 years of SICU/ICU experience; CCRN/TNCC/CTRN Certifications preferred, ACLS/PALS may be required by contract, and CPR as applicable.

The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Registered Nurseassumes responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process anddelivery of patient care in the SICU setting.,). The Registered Nurseconsistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable for managing complex patient care across all patient ages with a focus on immediatepostoperative medical care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices

• 2 years of SICU or ICU experience, preferred

• CCRN and/or TCRN/TNCC certifications preferred

• ACLS and/or PALS may be required per state/contract

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
