Qualifications
- Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section
- Must have ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or 3 years of experience per residency year; PGY2 or fellowship preferred
- Three years of clinical practice experience
Responsibilities
- Promotes a positive work environment and collaborates with health care professionals for patient goals
- Serves as rotation preceptor for students and residents; mentors staff pharmacists
- Manages pharmacotherapy reviews, education, and clinical interventions to optimize patient care
- Participates in quality improvement activities and professional development
- Provides drug information support and participates in committees
