The role includes precepting students and residents, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Must have completed PGY1 residency or equivalent experience (ASHP-accredited)
• Texas Pharmacist license or eligible within 90 days
• Pharmacist Preceptor Cert (PPC) within 90 days
• BLS or Instructor (AHA) within 90 days
• ACLS or Instructor (AHA) within 90 days
• PALS or Instructor (AHA) within 90 days

• Promotes optimal pharmacotherapy and safe, rational use of medications
• Provides education to pharmacists, nurses and medical staff
• Precepts pharmacy students and residents on clinical rotations
• Contributes to formulary processes, medication reconciliation and pharmacy protocols
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals to achieve patient-specific goals and quality outcomes
