Wellstar Medical Group, LLC seeks a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to support surgical teams under the surgeon, ensuring sterile environments, proper equipment function, and patient safety during invasive procedures.

Responsibilities include instrument setup, assisting with exposure, managing supplies, and participating in room turnover across general, orthopedic, neuro/vascular, robotic cases within a leading Georgia health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years surgical scrub experience
• All certifications required upon hire (CSA/CSFA/CST)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and sterile procedures

Responsabilités

• Prepare and set up sterile field and instruments.
• Assist surgeon with exposures and instrument passage.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention throughout procedures.
• Assist with room turnover and equipment readiness between cases.
• Support safety protocols and patient monitoring per surgeon directives.
