Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the primary surgeon during a surgical procedure.
• Assists in visualization of the operating field; provides hemostasis, tying or sewing as directed.
• Maintains responsibility for performing routine assigned clinical tasks of limited complexity.
• Prepares and positions patients for surgery; verifies availability of surgical equipment and supplies.
• Coordinates and participates in draping of the patient and ensures operating room readiness.
