Ardent Health Services in Tyler, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to join our operating room team.

Responsibilities

• The CSFA functions under the direction of the surgeon during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative experience to provide a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for the surgical patient.
• Exercises critical thinking skills in all aspects of the FA role.
• Establishes and maintains a safe operative environment.
• Provides technical first assistance to the primary surgeon in the operating room.
• Partners with the physician to enhance the effectiveness of patient care.
