Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to join a fast-paced OR team for a 13-week engagement. The role requires CST/ORT background and OR circulator experience, with a 06:30–17:00 shift and 36 hours per shift.

Candidates must have BLS and ACLS, and be able to fulfill rotating call (one night a week, one weekend every five weeks). Weekend/on-call rotations are required, and experience in orthopedics, general surgery, robotics, urology, or vascular procedures is preferred.

Description:The unit has five operating rooms.Current staffing includes five full-time registered nurses, including a manager and board runner, two part-time registered nurses, and three PRN registered nurses.There are also twelve surgical techs on staff.Patient ratios are 1 to 1.Basic operating room equipment is used, including cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equipment, and positioning equipment.The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech.Candidates must possess skills in OR circulator experience, BLS, and ACLS.Preferred candidates will have experience in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic surgery.The ideal personality fit is flexible, caring, compassionate, and willing.Candidates must be capable of scrubbing for open heart procedures.Weekend and on-call rotations are required, with a minimum of one night a week and one weekend every five weeks.
