Job summary

Agiliti in Roanoke, TX is seeking an entry-level Surgical Evaluation (Quality Control) Technician I. This role performs basic incoming and outgoing QC testing of surgical instruments, inspects equipment, and prepares items for shipping.

The position runs Monday–Friday daytime hours with a starting wage of $18/hour. Ideal candidates are entry-level or with 1–2 years’ repair experience, willing to sit, stand, lift up to 20 lbs, and maintain equipment to Agiliti’s standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend and stoop regularly.
• Proficient computer skills and flexibility in work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic incoming and outgoing Quality Control Testing of surgical instruments.
• Receive, inspect, evaluate and test incoming equipment.
• Identify defective parts or craftsmanship that do not meet standards.
• Ensure proper operation and standards of outgoing equipment.
• Document services and testing performed, including needed parts.
• Maintain work area to meet Visual Work Place standards.
• Prepare instruments and equipment for shipping.
