Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments annually for departments.
• Develop and direct orientation programs and in-services for staff.
• Coordinate educational programs with nursing leadership.
• Develop and review instructional materials and demonstrations.
• Interact with vendors and coordinate equipment demonstrations.
• Supervise nurse preceptor program and students.
• Assist with performance improvement and regulatory standards.
• Document attendance and ensure annual education requirements are met.
