This full-time day position offers the chance to shape clinical education while supporting a skilled perioperative team and advancing patient care.
The OR Clinical Staff Educator will serve as a key resource for clinical staff across the organization. This leader will develop and deliver education while partnering with department managers and nurse coordinators to identify learning needs. The role also supports quality improvement and continuous professional development.
The Clinical Educator OR will evaluate staff competencies and learning outcomes while creating meaningful education programs. Simulation training is an important part of the role with opportunities to use mannequins and simulation software. The educator will also collaborate with the Quality Management team to strengthen clinical practices and patient outcomes.
Working Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week, the OR Educator will enjoy a consistent schedule while making a direct impact on staff development. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hospital nursing experience and OR experience. A BSN and Oregon RN license are required. CORN, ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications are also required.
