Job summary

Dugan & Sweeney Oral & Maxillofacial in Zelienople, PA is seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will assist surgeons during oral surgery procedures, prepare patients, and help maintain a safe, efficient clinical environment.

Experience in oral surgery is a big plus. Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus a sign-on bonus up to $1,500 and benefits including medical insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with oral surgery procedures (extractions, implants, etc.).
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures chairside.
• Prepare patients and review histories for procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and instrument trays.
• Monitor and support anesthesia as directed.
• Document treatment accurately in the chart.
• Ensure safety standards and infection control.
