Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant to support our oral surgeons and prosthodontists during implant procedures. You will help maintain a sterile, organized workspace, assist with anesthesia administration, and ensure patient comfort through pre- and post-operative care.

The role requires prior surgical assistant experience and valid state certifications, with a clear path for career growth through ClearChoice University and leadership pathways.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant required.
• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• Strong focus on patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures.
• Maintain organized treatment areas and anticipate clinician needs.
• Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous and IV sedation where applicable.
• Ensure patient comfort and educate on pre- and post-operative care.
• Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and trays following infection control protocols.
• Take dental X-rays and prepare materials for impressions.
• Support patient record management and scheduling duties.
