Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant to support oral surgeons and prosthodontists during implant procedures. The role focuses on chairside assistance, patient comfort, strict infection control, and collaboration with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant required.
• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision.
• Self-starter mentality with excellent focus on patient safety and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons during surgical and implant procedures.
• Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clean, organized treatment area.
• Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, monitor well-being and educate on pre-/post-operative care.
• Prepare, sterilize and set up instruments and trays following infection control protocols.
• Take dental X-rays and prepare materials for impressions as directed.
• Assist with medical clearances and patient record management.
• Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients and managing supplies.
