Job summary

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a part-time Surgical Dental Assistant to support oral surgeons and prosthodontists during implant procedures. You’ll provide chairside assistance, prepare instruments, and help with anesthesia administration while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant required.
• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• Strong manual dexterity and precision with surgical instruments.
• Focus on patient safety and care in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures.
• Anticipate clinician needs and maintain an organized treatment area.
• Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous, and IV sedation procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, monitor wellbeing, and educate on pre- and post-operative care.
• Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and trays per infection control protocols.
• Take dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions as directed.
• Support schedule, patient greeting, and supply management; collaborate with teams.
