NHOMS | MassOMS in Newton seeks a reliable Dental Assistant to support oral surgeons and ensure sterile, compliant operations. Some travel to our Quincy location is required, with focus on radiography, charting, and patient care throughout the perioperative process.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, strong reliability, and a desire to learn. Dental/oral surgery experience and Open Dental familiarity are a plus; travel may be needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma required and reliable transportation.
• Motivation to learn and direct patient care commitment.
• Experience in dental/oral surgery preferred, Open Dental a plus.
• Basic computer skills including email and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel to support clinic operations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist chairside during dental surgical procedures.
• Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize rooms and instruments.
• Maintain infection control in line with CDC/OSHA/HIPAA.
• Capture radiographic images and document patient records.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care instructions to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient charts for continuity of care.
