Periodontal Associates of Memphis is growing and hiring a Surgical Dental Assistant to provide hands-on patient care in a warm, patient-centered environment. You will prepare operatories, assist the doctor, monitor sedation, take X-rays, and coordinate lab work.

Requirements include an accredited Dental Assisting program, two years of surgical assisting experience, prosthodontics experience, and CPR/BLS/First Aid certification. We offer paid holidays, PTO, 401k, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Dental Assisting program.
• Two years of Surgical Assisting experience required.
• Prosthodontics experience including bone grafting and implants.
• CPR, BLS, and First Aid Certification.
• Skilled with standard surgical office equipment (Autoclave, Statim, CBCT, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Prepare operatories for setup, decontamination and sterilization; restock and maintain areas.
• Provide positive patient service, prep patients, review treatment plans.
• Monitor oxygen and IV sedation as needed, take vitals.
• Take X-rays, impressions, pours and coordinates lab work.
• Document treatment data, schedule appointments, and provide post-op instructions.
