Job summary

Daydreams Procedure Center is seeking a Surgical Dental Assistant to deliver hands-on patient care in a dynamic environment. You will prepare operatories, assist during procedures and coordinate lab work, while maintaining patient comfort and accurate records.

The role requires an accredited Dental Assisting program graduate and at least two years of surgical assisting experience, with prosthodontics exposure (bone grafts & implants) preferred. CPR/BLS/First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Dental Assisting program.
• Two years of Surgical Assisting experience required.
• Prosthodontics experience including bone grafting & implants is preferred.
• CPR, BLS, & First Aid Certification are required or current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories for set-up, decontamination, sterilization, cleaning and restocking.
• Escort and prep patients, review treatment plans with patients.
• Monitor oxygen and IV sedation as needed; take vital signs.
• Take X-rays, impressions, pours and prepare study models; coordinate lab cases.
• Record treatment information and schedule follow-ups and post-op directions.
