Job summary

PerioNYC, a high-end periodontal practice in New York, seeks a long-term surgical dental assistant with at least 3 years of periodontal or oral surgery experience to join our team. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with benefits and a patient-focused environment.

You will prepare and clean treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, set up surgical trays, and assist during procedures. Additional duties include taking radiographs/CBCT scans, writing notes, and maintaining supplies with

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of periodontal or oral surgery experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean treatment rooms; sterilize instruments.
• Set up surgical trays and assist during procedures.
• Take radiographs and CBCT scans.
• Anticipate the doctor’s needs, assist hygienists, and write notes.

We are a high-end periodontal practice looking for a long-term surgical dental assistant with at least 3 years of periodontal or oral surgery experience to join our team. Our practice is modern and patient-focused, catering to a clientele that values quality care and an exceptional experience. Qualified candidates with have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and organization, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and be punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.

The job is a full time position, Mondays through Fridays 8 am to 5 pm, with benefits. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and cleaning treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, setting up surgical trays, taking radiographs and CBCT scans, assisting and anticipating the doctor’s needs, helping the hygienists, writing notes, managing supplies, and restocking as needed.
