Job summary

Paradigm Oral Health is seeking an Oral Surgeon Surgical Assistant for our Grove City in-office practice. You will assist surgeons with procedures, manage sterile environments, and document patient care from preoperative tasks through recovery, supporting smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and a passion for safety, with strong teamwork and meticulous attention to detail. Radiographs and clinical support will be routinely performed.

• BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire).
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with procedures and maintain sterile environments.
• Document patient care and ensure accurate narratives.
• Obtain vital radiographs and monitor patient status during procedures.
• Participate in preoperative tasks and post-operative documentation.
• Communication with dentists and surgical team to support patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire)
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking.
• Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial.
• DAANCE certification is desirable.
• Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
• Radiology certification is a plus.
