Colorado Oral Surgery Group Englewood is seeking a reliable Surgical Dental Assistant to join our high-energy, patient-focused team. This full-time role requires assisting the surgeon, sterilizing instruments, taking X-Rays, and maintaining patient records in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of dental assistant experience, X-Ray certification, and a CPR/BLS credential. We offer a competitive $20–$25/hour pay range with monthly performance bonuses and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a dental assistant.
• Active CPR or BLS certification is required or willing to obtain.
• X-ray certification is required.
• Dental assistant certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during surgical procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare operatories for procedures.
• Take diagnostic radiographs (X-Rays).
• Monitor patient vital signs as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Back up for prosthodontist with dentures and hybrids.

Schedule: Tuesday- Friday 7:30am-5pm

Compensation: $20-$25/hour, plus attainable monthly bonus opportunities based on performance

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during surgical procedures
• Sterilize instruments and prepare operatories for a wide variety of procedures
• Take diagnostic radiographs (X-Rays)
• Monitor patient vital signs as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
• Act as a back up assistant for our prosthodontist, assisting with dentures and hybrids

What We're Looking For

• 1 or more years of experience as a dental assistant
• Active CPR or BLS Certification or willing to obtain
• X-Ray Certification required
• Dental Assistant Certification preferred

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
