Job summary

Rochester Regional Health System is seeking a Surgical Clinical Reviewer to collect and submit NSQIP data for all eligible surgeries. You will collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high-quality data and support quality improvement projects.

Ideal candidates have nursing credentials (ASN with BSN preferred) and at least one year in a hospital surgery or clinical research setting. Strong MS Office skills are required, with experience in data abstraction optional.

Qualifications

• ASN required, BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in hospital surgery department, surgery clinic, clinical research, or medical records.
• Familiarity with MS Office products is essential (Word and Excel preferred; PowerPoint and Access optional).

Responsibilities

• Identifies surgical patients for inclusion using program criteria.
• Collects preop, operative, and postop data for NSQIP database.
• Attends Morbidity & Mortality conferences to ensure data reliability.
• Performs data entry and monitors weekly accrual reports.
