Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a dedicated Surgical Core Technician to support the operating room team by delivering and stocking supplies, tracking instruments, and ensuring sterile packaging integrity. You will assist with perioperative workflows and maintain efficient case readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and use a full range of body motion throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
• Must be able to use required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver supplies to operating room staff.
• Maintain inventory and organize storage areas.
• Inspects package integrity.
• Use computer systems to track instruments and sterilization processes.
• Dusting tasks.
• Outdating of supplies.
• Frequently lift and carry 25 pounds or more, including work above shoulder level.
