Job summary

Wiregrass Ranch Asc Holdings is seeking a Surgery Charge Nurse to lead the clinical staff and oversee daily operations within the surgical department. You will ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations, while supporting staff development and quality improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with leadership and physicians, manage schedules, and provide hands-on clinical support when needed.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of AHCA, AAAHC, CMS, OSHA, and infection control standards.
• Current BLS; ACLS training within 90 days of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of surgical nursing staff and daily operations.
• Direct staff scheduling and patient care coordination to ensure smooth department flow.
• Mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support ongoing training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead regular staff meetings and participate in CHRIS, infection control, and safety activities.
• Provide direct patient care as needed to support staffing and operations.
