United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is hiring a Registration Clerk for our Avondale ASC. The role involves admitting patients, processing paperwork, updating demographics, collecting payments, and handling funds within a fast-paced ambulatory surgical facility.

The position requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of clerical experience, strong typing (45 wpm), and good communication skills. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of prior clerical or hospital clerical experience preferred.
• Must operate standard office equipment.
• Typing speed of 45 wpm required.
• Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interface with patients and families, physicians and staff.
• Admit patients and process their paperwork.
• Update patient demographics in the system.
• Collect payments and document in billing system.
• Handle funds per office procedure.
