Job summary

SP MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC, operating Southpoint Surgery Center in the Durham-Southpoint area, is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Housekeeper to clean operating rooms, patient rooms, bathrooms, offices and other areas under the EVS Supervisor. You will ensure supplies are stocked, perform floor care including buffing and scrubbing, handle waste, and execute terminal cleaning per policy.

You must follow safety and infection-control procedures, wear PPE, maintain clean janitorial spaces,

Qualifications

• Experience in Environmental Services/housekeeping preferred in ambulatory or surgical settings.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in stocking supplies daily and maintains PAR levels.
• Performs floor care including buffing, scrubbing, and waxing as needed.
• Performs proper terminal cleaning in patient rooms and ORs according to policy.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment adhering to infection control and PPE requirements.
• Reports hazards, safety concerns, and policy improvements to management.
