Job summary

Southpoint Surgery Center, an affiliate of North Carolina Specialty Hospital, seeks a part-time EVS Housekeeper in Durham, NC. The role focuses on cleaning operating rooms, patient rooms, bathrooms, and offices to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, floor care, terminal cleaning, and adherence to infection control protocols; prior EVS or hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
• 1 year experience in Environmental Services or housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean operating rooms, patient rooms, bathrooms, and offices as assigned.
• Stock housekeeping supplies daily according to PAR levels.
• Perform terminal cleaning per hospital policy and procedure.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment; follow infection control requirements.
• Operate floor buffers and scrubbers as needed to clean and polish floors.
• Comply with safety signs and PPE use; report hazards immediately.
