SP MANAGEMENT SERVICES INC, operating Southpoint Surgery Center in the Durham-Southpoint area, is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Housekeeper to clean operating rooms, patient rooms, bathrooms, offices and other areas under the EVS Supervisor. You will ensure supplies are stocked, perform floor care including buffing and scrubbing, handle waste, and execute terminal cleaning per policy.

Southpoint Surgery Center (SPSC), an affiliate of North Carolina Specialty Hospital, is a new Ambulatory Surgery Center located between Raleigh and Durham in the Durham-Southpoint area. SPSC will provide a differentiated outpatient delivery model focused on providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions for surgical and related ancillary care for patients. SPSC is a multi-specialty 22,298 sq. ft. facility accommodating the following: Ortho, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, General, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, Vascular, and Pain. Under the supervision of the EVS Supervisor, the EVS Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all areas they are assigned and trained to clean, such as: the operating room(s), patient rooms, bathrooms, administrative offices, O.R. break room, and other facility areas as needed and assigned.
Be able to operate floor buffers, scrubbers and vacuums to clean and polish floors - preferred
Apply Finishes: Strip, wax, and apply protective coatings or sealants as needed - preferred
Clean & Polish: Apply cleaning solutions, remove scuff marks, and buff floors to a high shine - preferred
Bending, sitting, squatting, crawling, reaching, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, pushing and pulling with an exertion of up to 50 lbs.
