Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematic calculations including addition subtraction multiplication and division.
• Verbal and written communications.
• Ability to read comprehend and write the English language.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates regularly with shift supervisor and operating room staff to ensure that proper supplies for each case are picked and delivered as needed.
• Completes surgical case cart preparation and surgical equipment staging activities as determined by the daily surgical schedule.
• Conducts case cart supply and instrument return activities and observe results to make recommendation to clinicians or potential preference cards update.
• Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards.
• Maintains adequate knowledge of surgical procedures supplies ordering and product placement.
• Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams as appropriate.
