Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Surgical Care Tech for our Operating Room, performing cleaning and disinfecting of OR equipment and related housekeeping duties.

The role is full-time, evening shift, with on-call weekend requirements and benefits including health, dental, PTO, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma.
• A minimum of one-year previous related experience.

Department: Operating Room - In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.

Position Purpose

The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects operating room equipment as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties (Cleaning stretchers, equipment, terminally cleaning of the Surgical Department, etc.)

Shift Available

Evening Shift

Status Available

Full-time benefit eligible (80 hours per pay period - every two weeks)

On call required one weekend every couple months

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma
• A minimum of one-year previous related experience.
