Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• One-year experience in clinical area preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• General office skills and medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist APRN and physician during examinations and procedures.
• Transcribe notes into the patient EMR accurately.
• Perform clerical duties and operate office equipment.
• Assist in scheduling and obtaining precertification for surgeries.
• May perform phlebotomy with no waived testing.
