University of Miami Hospital & Clinics seeks a Nursing Assistant to support nursing service personnel with patient care, hygiene, vital signs, and meal service. The role includes transporting patients, assisting with mobility, and preparing supplies for perioperative services.

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required. The position is full-time, daytime hours (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), based at University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - Periop.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely between rooms and areas.
• Assist patients with mobility and positioning.
• Support nursing staff with patient care and hygiene tasks.
• Prepare and disinfect surgical areas and equipment between procedures.
• Maintain supplies and cleanliness of the surgical suite and storage areas.
