Mountain State Oral & Facial Surgery in West Virginia is seeking a dedicated dental assistant to support doctors and the surgical team. You will help with patient discharge, prepare materials for recovery, and assist with operatory setup for surgeries in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certificate in dental assisting and/or surgical assisting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and assistants in a timely manner and help with patient discharge.
• Stock ice packs and prepare recovery room bags.
• Prepare gauze and syringes for patients to take home.
• Label autoclave bags and keep equipment organized.
• Maintain operatory readiness and assist with upcoming surgeries.
• Perform x-rays as needed and respond to post-op calls.
• Ensure patient flow and confidentiality; support front office as needed.
