MPOWERHealth is seeking a Surgical First Assist for an OR-only, full-time role in Dallas, TX. You will lead as the primary surgical first assistant, providing hands-on support throughout procedures and coordinating with the OR team.

Relocation assistance is available; we offer comprehensive benefits including health coverage, HSA, dental and vision, 401(k) with match, and wellness programs. Graduate from an accredited PA/NP/CSFA program and be eligible for MN license.

Formación

• 2+ years of surgical assisting experience.
• Hands-on experience in Ortho, Spine, General, GYN, and Robotics.
• Spine experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead as First Assist, providing hands-on support throughout procedures.
• Set the Stage Pre-Op: confirm cases, meet patients, document & coordinate with OR staff.
• Deliver in the OR: support positioning, sterile field, anticipate surgeon moves with team.
• Post-Op: assist with transfers, PACU handoffs, and precise documentation.
• Contribute to clinical and operational initiatives and education.
• Grow by expanding into new surgical specialties and skills.

What You Do

• Lead as First Assist Serve as the primary surgical first assist, providing critical hands‑on support throughout procedures.
• Set the Stage Pre-Op Confirm cases, meet patients, walk them through procedures, gather documentation, and coordinate closely with OR staff.
• Deliver in the OR Support patient positioning, maintain a sterile field, anticipate the surgeon's next move, and work in sync with the surgical team.
• Follow Through Post-Op Assist with patient transfer, deliver thorough PACU handoffs, and complete documentation with precision.

What You Bring

Experience

• At least 2 years of surgical assisting experience
• Hands-on experience assisting in Ortho, Spine, General, GYN, and Robotics
• Spine experience is a plus

Education & Credentials

• Strong technical skills in the operating room
• Graduate of an Accredited program- PA/NP/CSFA
• Ability to acquire MN state license
