Beacon Oral Specialists in Decatur, GA seeks a Surgical Assistant I to join our growing practice. You will support surgeons during procedures, prepare equipment, and help maintain a smooth patient flow.

The role requires CPR/BLS, a dental X-ray license, and excellent communication and patient care. You will work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with industry-standard benefits including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Dental X-ray license (Pano, PA, CBCT) required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during consultations and treatment.
• Proper instrument cleaning per infection control protocols.
• Autoclave operation and function.
• Surgical tray setup and instrument identification.
• Room setup/breakdown for IV anesthesia and surgery.
• Seat patient, pre-op setup, review charts.
• Take vital signs and support administrative tasks.
• May perform X-rays and greet patients.
