The successful candidate will perform both surgical and non-surgical tasks, maintain asepsis, and assist with patient preparation, chart reviews, and EMR documentation, while upholding OSHA standards and providing excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Assistant program.
• Certification as a Surgical Assistant.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Dental X-ray license (Pano, PA, CBCT) required.

Responsibilities

• Proper instrument cleaning in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocols.
• Autoclave operation and function.
• Surgical tray set-up.
• Review charts.
• Take X-Rays / scans.
• Enter EMR notes for various appointments and procedures.
• Provide excellent patient care.
