Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Assistant (SA), RNFA or equivalent program.
• International Medical Graduates (IMGs) may be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of Surgical Assistant experience.
• Surgical credentials: SA, CSFA, RNFA, PA, or equivalent.
• Surgical Technologists are NOT eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Call Requirement: Call, late shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
Pay Rate: $50 – $57/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 – $2,280/week

Job Summary

The Surgical Assistant will work closely with surgeons to facilitate safe and efficient procedures, including tissue handling, exposure, hemostasis, suturing, wound closure, and other first‑assist responsibilities.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Assistant (SA), RNFA or equivalent program

International Medical Graduates (IMGs) may be considered

Minimum 3 years of Surgical Assistant experience

Experience in:

• Orthopedic Surgery
• Neuro/Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• General Surgery
• Robotic Surgery
• Urology
• Gynecology
• Vascular Surgery

Ability to work call, late shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Required Credentials

Surgical Assistant (SA), Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), RNFA, PA, or equivalent qualification

CPR/BLS Certification – Required

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Assistant, or equivalent program

Surgical Technologists are NOT eligible for this position.
