SOUTH VALLEY ORAL SURGERY is seeking an Oral Surgeon Surgical Assistant to support surgeons during procedures and document patient care. You will manage preoperative tasks, maintain sterile environments, monitor patients, and operate advanced equipment. You will also obtain radiographs and craft patient narratives.

The role offers in-office work with travel to Gilroy, Los Banos, and San Jose, CA, supporting a collaborative, patient-focused practice committed to safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS certification and a strong focus on patient safety.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness.
• Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergencies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical setting with good judgment and critical thinking.

Required Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire)
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking.
• Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial.
• DAANCE certification is desirable.
• Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
• Radiology certification is a plus.
