Texas Oncology in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Surgical Oncology team. This full-time role supports outpatient clinics with potential OR assistance in a hybrid setting, based on candidate experience.

Competitive salary and CME support are offered. The ideal candidate can come from either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant track, with corresponding certifications and state licensure.

Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
• RFA/RFNA certification and RN license required for hybrid role, BLS/CPR.
• For PA path: accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
• Level 1–Sr levels based on experience (0–3, 3, or 6+ years).

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for surgical evaluation.
• Perform pre-operative H&P, review imaging/labs, assist in planning.
• Provide post-operative follow-up, wound checks, suture removal.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, self-care.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary services.
• Document encounters in EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in QA initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• May assist with in-office procedures and intraoperative assistance (hybrid).
