Job summary

Texas Oncology in Lewisville, TX is hiring a Surgical Advanced Practice Provider to join our Surgical Oncology team in a full-time role at 500 W Main St. The APP will work in outpatient and hybrid operating room settings, delivering comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, education, and care coordination alongside surgeons.

Candidates may be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 0-3 years for Level 1, 3 years for Level 2, or 6+ years for Level Sr, and must hold required licensure

Qualifications

• MSN or NP program completion.
• NCCPA certification for PA track.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for surgical evaluation.
• Pre-operative history, exams and planning.
• Post-operative follow-up and education.
• Coordinate care with surgeons and team.
• Document encounters in EMR.
• Assist in OR as required (hybrid role).
