Job summary

Texas Oncology in Arlington, TX is seeking a Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing team. This full-time position supports the Texas Urology Specialists Arlington location, with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, no weekends or major holidays, and opportunities for advancement as Level 1, 2 or Sr based on experience.

Qualifications

• MSN degree and NP program completion.
• RN license current and active.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• NCCPA certification for PA path (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• conducts comprehensive assessments of surgical patients.
• Pre-operative history and physical exams, reviews imaging and labs, assists in planning.
• Post-operative follow-up including wound checks and suture removal.
• Educates patients and families on procedures, expectations, and recovery.
• Coordinates care with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary services.
• Documents encounters and plans in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Participates in quality improvement and applies evidence-based practices.
• May assist with in-office procedures and intraoperative support in hybrid role.
