Job summary

Texas Oncology Arlington South seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Radiation Oncology team. The position is full-time with 50% at Arlington South and 50% at the Fort Worth Cancer Center, located at 515 W Mayfield Rd. #101, Arlington, TX.

The APP will provide direct patient care in collaboration with practice physicians. Requirements include MSN and NP/PA pathway depending on track, with relevant board certification and state licensure.

Qualifications

• MSN from an accredited nursing school and NP program completed.
• NCCPA certification if pursuing PA track.
• Current RN licensure and active practice in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in oncology setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Document visits, educate patients and families, and manage symptoms.
• Utilize EHR per policy and participate in tumor board and trainings.
• Engage in community outreach and staff education as needed.
